Sure! But it won't work.

The 93 is set up for a RH (hydralically operated); the 2000 is a RE (electrically operated via the ECU).

What's wrong with the 93 46RH?

Think 4L60 and 4L60E ...

4L60 is hydraulic for the most part, a 4L60E is electric/electronic.

Or a AOD and an AODE.

Depending on the year and the source, the 5.9 MAY be externally balanced; need to use the flexplate/converter and harmonic balance for the 5.9 with the 5.9.

The 5.9, if not from a Dakota, will need a Dakota 5.9 oil pan (look for one about 2000 or so in the parts list).

The intake on the 5.9 won't have the second sensor bung for the gauge; you'll need to swap intakes or have the 5.9's drilled.

The exhaust on the 5.9 being a 2000 won't have the EGR bung; either swap manifolds or live with the CELs. The 1992/1993 exhaust manifolds and the exhaust system was a bit bigger than 94+, so there's a plus to using the 93 exhaust manifolds besides the EGR.

The 93 ECU is expecting a different flow injector than the 2000 uses; I'd swap injectors from the 93 also (the 5.2 injectors will work in the 5.9).

Last but not least, the factory ECU in the 1993 won't know how to handle the 5.9 fully; however, it won't kill the motor, it just won't run at full potential. Let's say it'll run at 95% or so.

Plus, the 93 computer STILL won't handle the 2000 automatic. So you'll be shiftless.

I ask again, what's wrong with the 93's 46RH transmission?
