Shifts perfect into 2nd, and doesn't want to let go of 2nd gear, but will after time. I can call patc on monday, but figured I might as well post up and listen to replies. The 1st-2nd shift is PRIME, 2nd lags and wants to peg, stab the throttle a few times and it will make it's way into 3rd, 3rd will go into o/d just fine. PATC chimes about their raptor fluid, yet the tech line says atf4 is awesome, and "they" use royal purple. Any help would be appreciated.

Line pressure is probably jacked up too high and is freaking the pcm out.

Would that throw a code of any kind?

Not nessecarily. When I first put mine back together It wouldn't come out of second, I had to back it down a bit. I'm not sure that's your issue though.

Do you have a set of pressure gauges? I would like to see what the Gov pressure in relation to vehicle speed and also accumulator pressure.
