I am wondering if I can use 4.7HO internals in a standard and what would it change if I did do this. I am thinking the Cams, Pistons and possibly the heads??
Any thoughts on this?
They drop right in, there's no difference between the actual block or head. outside of an HO stamp on the head. I know they had upgraded pistons and possibly crank and rods in the block but they were all the same spec. The cam was quite different and where you'll get most of the power, and they had stronger valve springs. But you can put anything from the HO engine into the non HO block/head without any issues.
