I just had a quick question with how big my fuel injectors were. I have a 2000 4x4 4.7 dak, Ever since i ported the hell out of my throttle body it seems like i'm not puttin enough fuel into the motor and i was wonderin what size my injectors were that are on it stock and wat would be a safe size to go to, i'm also plannin a 70mm fastman also in the near future, any input would be great thanx
They should be 19lb injectors I believe. By porting it so much you have likely reduced the air velocity and perhaps the air isn't mixing the fuel as well down in the cylinder, so it is possible that you're over-fueling the system instead.
thought they was bigger than 19lb injectors. as when peopel talk about better ones. they talk about the ford 19 lb injectors and they say they pump a lil less than stock. so I guess ours are like 20 or so.

This might be a dumb question but how do you port out the stock throttle body? Im looking to get that big 70mm throttle but in the mean time porting out the stock 68mm? would be nice. thanks in advance.
I got the codes from my 2000 4.7 dak p0204, p0205, p0207, p0208 it is said these all mean injector bank output driver does not respond properly to control signal. What could be the cause of this an how can I fix it?
I just ran some heet water remover and high octane gas and it seemed to take care of the problem I have seen the engine light on but not right away after starting. I will keep you posted if it changes.
Yea when i get load on my truck and stomp on it my truck falls on it's face hard and the usual intake noise is really really low sounding and coming from the manifold i have only been runnin 93 octane and i jus tried some cleaner and none of it works, at a 55 mph roll (the sweet spot) when u floor it and it kicks down i lose speed and it sputters
The basics. imagine you got out on the interstate and stomped itand your amazing engine fell flat. first I want to know what the fuel pressure of that injection system was before and after you stomped it. and if that was an old Holley carburetor we would guess your power valve was miscalculated. but in this case you've asked your injectors to suddenly spit out Fuel and if your fuel pressure drop 5 lb at the same time well...sorry. and then you spend hundreds of dollars to get bigger injectors and bore out your air intake but still you're going to drop the same 5 lb. maybe you should replace the fuel pump with 203,000 on it first and then go out and stomp it
