I cannot figure this one out, I have a stutter at idle and loss of power, especially accelerating in higher gears or uphill on the highway. Revering g with a load as well. It's an 03 Dakota QC 3.9l automatic.

I have replaced the plenum gaskets
MAP
IAC
Checked for Vacuum leaks
Replaced the plugs
Wires
Cap and rotor
O2 sensor, etc.

Any input will greatly be appreciated! TIA!

Sounds like the TPS is going out. Replace with a OEM unit or you'll have trouble.
Just replaced as an attempt, it seems to have slightly improved things but not very much, the stutter still exists but it has not stalled yet.

Reset the PCM by removing the negative cable from the battery for about a minute or so. Connect it back and go for a drive.

Still a small improvement but no joy. Still having a slight stutter and it stalled in reverse today. Hm

Have you removed and cleaned the TB yet? If not, give it a try.
Yes sir, I just did a compression check today, all cylinders except #3 were at 170~ psi while 3 was at 135, so it's look looking like valve seats or rings. I haven't done a wet test yet though.

I would check the short term and long term fuel trim with the fuel pressure. You would need an obd2 with live recording to see what is happening to the fuel trim. Also if the fuel pressure is dropping intermittently from a week pump this could be a symptom.

I did have the pump go bad on me a couple months ago

Is it possible a new pump is bad? Also quick update, motor has been rebuilt to fix the low compression in cylinder 3. But, the stutter is still there.

What is the fuel pressure at idle and at 3000 rpms? The concern is dropping pressure (mechanical failure) vs sensor adjustments. This would also apply to fuel injectors clogged.

I'm not too sure right now, it's basically a new pump. I'll have to get a pressure tester and check it.

Can you recreate the stutter? If it stutters in park add carb cleaner (fuel). If it does it calls for too much fuel. If not then it is starved.

It will stutter if I idle for too long. If I shut it off and start it back up, it will be good for a minute or two and start stuttering again. I tried starting fluid looking for a vaccuum leak, spraying it around the motor a week or two ago and it didn't change anything, but when I sprayed into the throttle body it died

Update, I dropped the trans oil pan and replaced 4 quarts of fluid, issue has cleared up a little bit. Will do a full flush and see if it clears up the issue completely.
