Per suggestions, I've started a poll for people to select the Dakota-Durango.com 2009 Truck of the Year from the 12 trucks that won Truck of the Month. The winner will be sent a swag pack of Dak-Dur merchandise, plus bragging rights.

Since we're already a ways into 2010 I'm going to leave this poll open for about 30 days, will give as many people as possible the opportunity to vote.

Voted- but where are the Durango's

The people up for truck of the month were nominated by fellow members on the site. More people nominated Dakotas than Durangos and more people voted for Dakotas than Durangos. If people would like to see more Durangos nominated and win TOTM then the Durango owners need to get together and do so. There are some that are very deserving but it all comes down to numbers. I also think it has a lot to do with the site having a lopsided amount of Dakota vs Durango owners. I know Steve said he had some new ideas for TOTM going forward. I don't know if that would include 2 TOTM votes. 1 for Dakotas and 1 for Durangos. Would give more people a chance to win and both could be put up on the main page. :huh:

Yea, I know it is a lopsided, I was just messin around and causing trouble. :stirthepo :jester: I have been here long enough to know that there are more Dakotas then Durangos. Though I do like your idea of maybe having 2 TOTM. :goodidea:
