Hey, my mechanic replaced a 4.7 in my 2004 Dakota which had a cracked head (but would still start) and it turns over but won't start. Reading a crank sensor failure. Replaced crank sensor, nothing. Cam sensor, nothing. Checked all connections at harness and traced wires. Nothing. No spark since crank sensor won't give signal. The replacement engine ran well before it was installed in my truck. Any suggestions are appreciated. Is there any type of computer diagnosis available for electrical systems I'm unaware of? Thanks, Pete in Delaware

I am sure this has been resolved by now, but would like to add there is no pickup sensor. This may have been a cam or crank sensor issue.

For future reference.
