I need to replace one of the front brake lines that sprung a leak on my 04 Dakota and have decided to go ahead and replace all of them front and rear while I'm at it. I am debating whether to try and do it myself or have it done at a repair shop. I typically try to do repairs myself to save money but getting under the truck and looking at the lines I'm not sure I want to try and do it myself. If I do decide to do it myself, I was going to get one of the complete pre-bent line kits from one of the companies like In-line Tube as I don't have the tools to make my own lines. My question is, has anyone bought one of these kits and if so, how difficult was the job? I don't have a hoist so the best I can do is get the truck up on jack stands. I've been quoted anywhere from $600 to $1000 to have it done but if it is a difficult type job I guess I would opt to have it done.
