it`s actually pretty easy, just 2 bolts from the hose to the thermastat housing. remove the hose and it`s an easy mod. removing and replacing the hose is the only biotch,lol. also, the 4.7/3.7 thermostat does not require a gasket and is the same stat prt number as the 3.9,5.2,5.9
