So my Buddy has a 2003 durango 5.9 and it will not do a burnout. Brake stands it’ll only hold it at the stall speed and the tires won’t break loose. If I cut the wheel and floor it it burns the tire but not at a standstill. I read about torque management a bit but I was wondering if it has tm and if it does will deleting it help it do a burnout any better? Thanks

The R/T is full time AWD. This is probably the SLT. I don't think all 5.9s had the torque management, only the R/Ts; could be wrong though.

Does it have disc brakes in the rear, or drums? I think the proportioning valve is different between the disc/disc and disc/drum setup. Drums would allow for easier burnouts, whereas disc clamping force would be similar front and back.
