Afternoon all,
I have this upper console that I bought 10 yrs ago to put into my Dakota.
Pretty sure my Dakota is not prewired for this as mine has the same set up but only has the dome lights in it and I decided not to mess with it.
I was cleaning up my garage and shed and ran across it /forgot I even had it
anyway I'd like to sell or even trade for something for the Dakota.
I have no Idea what it's worth and haven't looked to find out
if you know what it's worth if anything at all please let me know
I'm in Fl. 32765 I don't mind shipping if your willing to pay for it
see pics below
It also came with wiring instructions ect.
Automotive tire Motor vehicle Automotive lighting Automotive design Bumper
Mobile phone Telephony Communication Device Portable communications device Bumper
Rectangle Font Wood Handwriting Commemorative plaque

Too bad you never installed it! Easy to install, wiring is not even tricky. You'd have enjoyed it all these years. One of my favorite upgrades.

Yea I never even pulled mine to look or really investigated it I just assumed that they would be some sort of sensors etc. to acquire and that was not part of my priorities with all the other stuff I did to it.
I was to busy with painting trim stuff adding and painting lighted running boards off a Ford expedition I customized to fit Painting interior stuff. Mine is the Patriot blue pearl with the gray fade at the bottom I was able to get a silver hammered paint that I added a hint of purple to, to blend in with that. Not to toot my own horn but it looked pretty darn good when I was done final step was the 20 rims and tires and dropped it 2" in the front and 3" in the rear. I couldn't go anywhere with out someone stopping me to chat. That was fine for the first few months but tiresome when I had to be somewhere. Then I realized towing the boat was an issue. After the third trip to the water a decision had to made and I brought it back to factory. Any who if no one is interested I may look into it since were fixing to have it resprayed, You know how great there clear coats are LOL

Put air bags on it! Or at least air shocks. That way you can pump up the rear for towing and then drop it back down and have a street truck again.

Well I sold the boat 3 days ago (just don't have interest anymore) and the truck will eventually be passed down to my younger son I already gave him the go ahead on what ever he wants to do to get to his likings once he gets his official drivers license. First thing he wanted was the running boards gone and the rain shields gone. He said running boards are for old folks LOL and the rain deflectors are only useful for smokers to keep there ashes from blowing back in. I laughed and said why do you think I put that stuff on LOL

Just an update we attempted to install it and it was a complete failure for 2 reasons
1 We would have to completely rewire it.(Not interested in that) I know when I going north south etc. And I don't need to be reminded how darn hot it is outside
2 Interesting enough the consoles are not interchangeable unless you replace the mounting base as well evidently the sub base or console has a deeper rim and the rearward clips do not reach the dakota base
Go figure to look at them you would never know.
So it went in the trash and is never to be seen again
