good job buddy! im looking at a 4bt swap into mine considering i dont plan on going in depth of a project like yourself. i plan to retain most of the front end the way it is with swapping out only the transmission and bigger rear axle. in my honest opinion, if my front end can technically support a 5.9 v8 and a 9.25 rear axle hold up to a heavily modified 5.9 v8, a 4bt wont be an issue. going to go with a 47rh auto for the transmission.

The 4BT is a great swap. I would love to do one of those at some point in the future, its getting hard to find the motors now though.........they are fetching a pretty penny now that the swap is so popular.

Yeah we love our turbo Dodge's up here. You get more fun for the money in those little cars than anything else, thats for sure.

Thanks. It should be back on the road in the next week or so, sitting 7" higher and with a fully built 47RH transmission....................blew up the 727.

I like the R/T, always wanted a standard cab short box R/T. Especially in black.
Lol nice, so how many inches over stock does that thing sit roughly?

Thanks, doing the body on her right now, should have the fresh black paint on by this time next month hopefully *fingerscrossed*

If you guys do get together to shoot some pictures, be sure to post them. I could really use a new bad ass computer background featuring some Dakotas.

nice truck man i was thinking of doing the same thing prob is i cant get my hands on a cummings but a small cat motor im thinking about whats your mpg like lmao better then a 1 ton or does she drink like mad

I'm in the process of finishing up a build just like this. I have a 92 w250 chassis under mine with the 5 speed Getrag. Doing crossover steering, disc brakes in the back, narrowed the front axle, electric fans, and a air to water intercooler. Glad to see somebody else is crazy. Found this looking for Pocket flares. Haven't posted on here for years.

Its roughly 15"-17" over a stock quad cab 4x4.

Definitely, we should get together and snap some pics once our trucks are ready. I have a bunch of nice spots in and around Essex County.

I get around 21-24 MPG the way it sits now. Should be even better though with the new transmission as it has over drive and lockup.
