For anyone who doesn't have software on your PC to open a .rar file and doesn't know what to do.... You can download WinRAR and use the trial version to open it or you can use 7-Zip, which is way better, it's free, and also opens other types of archive files. You can download it at www.7-zip.org.

Now, can anyone tell me where I can find the FSM for 2000 Durango? I downloaded the .rar for the Dakota but I would rather have it in .PDF since it is much easier to use and can be searched.

Thanks!

I own a 2002 Dodge Durango sport with a 4.7l 4x4.I'm getting a P0128 code which is coolant thermostat, coolant temperature below thermostat regulation temperature. I've installed two thermostats in the last year, The last one just a few months ago. And also replaced the heat sending unit. I'm continuing to get the P0128 code. Does anyone know what's going on. Thanks in advance. Johnny01:

The PCM looks at the engine running time, the temperature measurement from the "Intake Air Temperature Sensor" (IAT) and the "Coolant Temperature Sensor" (ECT) to determine if the Engine Temperature is at the desired operating Temperature.

Possibles causes of P0128:
  • Low engine coolant level
  • Leaking or stuck open thermostat
  • Faulty cooling fan (running too much)
  • Faulty coolant temperature (ECT) sensor
  • Faulty intake air temperature (IAT) sensor
