Any one have any luck with locating air shocks for a 94 4x4 long bed Dakota? I need a bit of leveling out when I load the ATV. Any suggestions for air shocks, heavy duty shocks or bags that have worked for you? There has got be a cross reference somewhere that gives the same rear shock we use on a different vehicle.
Thanks for the help.

That would be the perfect solution if I could find it in Canada for that price. I had seen the Air Lift stuff before. Very pricey in Canadian Buck$, I am hoping someone had some luck with bolt on shocks like Monroe Air or such.

Thanks for the suggestion...!

Ive added a leaf to the leaf spring pack on a few of my vehicles, most recently my 96 4wd Dakota reg cab or club cab, dont matter for shock/spring application,
they did have a few different spring packages and GVW packages among the Dakotas.

Air bags please, never air shocks if your going to use it as a truck of any sorts. Air shocks in short time will destroy, in many ways, the shock mounts and you will have a mess on your hands fixing them. I have bags on my 99 Durango 6 wheel lug, tow package model. They have lasted since 99 and were around 250.00 bucks.
I would only trust the instillation of bags done by yourself, because you truly want the frame holes you need to drill to be correct,, and exactly the same on both sides.

I thought I'd relax for a while, and bought a 33 ft motor home, and had the dealer install the needed air bags on it, and shortly past the beginning of my trip the leaf spring punched a hole in one of the bags, because the installer didn't mount the left side bag,,, "away from the leaf". It takes a bit of paying attention to install bags correctly, however you will be proud to have done a good job when finished..
