Howdy,

Wondering if anyone could tell or show me where the ABS wire to right front wheel enters the harness. I picked up a 07 Dakota and the ABS harness from right front wheel at the wheel bearing had been cut and removed. I cannot locate where the wires that connect to it enters the harness. the clip on the inner wheel well is missing along with the harness wiring. I looked through Service manual, can only find Left side. I'm struggling to understand why someone would do this... but that's where I'm at. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Are you sure that your truck has 4 wheel ABS?
Is the ABS light lit up on your dash?

Our generation of Dakota came with rear ABS standard, and 4 wheel ABS being optional. There will be one sensor up front with only rear wheel ABS. You need to get your build sheet, which will list all standard and optional equipment of your truck, and see which ABS system that you have. Click HERE, and enter your VIN, and your build sheet will show.

Thanks, I did hear about this but assumed mine was 4 W/ABS because there was an ABS sensor in the left and right , but the right looked like it was simply cut off. It does have drums in the back, might be a good indicator. I tried the link with my VIN multiple ways, doesn't pull anything up.

Got home and tried to run VIN on my PC, not at work, and it worked! Pwr Disc/Drum Rr Anti-Lock Brakes is what it shows for this truck. Nothing about 4 wheel ABS.

Thanks for your assistance, will be picking up right (correct) wheel bearing today.
