I have an 04 Dakota SLT 2WD. Drove it home from work done great. Got in it the next morning to go to work, and backed out of the driveway fine. Put in drive, rolled backwards. Tried all of the other gears and doesn't move. No reverse or forward. Engine revs up like it's in neutral when you give gas. Fluid is full. Checked the shift linkage on transmission, it moves with the shifter. Unhooked the linkage and tried shifting it manually. Nothing. Wasn't making any noises or any other warning signs. Any help appreciated.

A sudden lose of all gears would indicate either broken pump gears in the trans something broke in the rear end, Does park work? If it does then the trans is the problem, If not take a look at the driveshaft with it running in gear if the driveshaft is spinning then your rear end is shot.
Thanks
