Will a transfer case off a 04 Dodge Durango work on a 03 Dodge Ram 1500?

It should, considering both used the same drivetrains, but the shaft splines on the transfer case input may be different due to the Ram's higher payload/towing requirements, so the transmission output where the transfer case bolts up may be different.
