I've recently acquired a neglected Dakota that had major green gunk on the battery terminals. After cleaning them up, I then discovered ground strap issues and almost every warning light on the dash is lit up.

One strap seems to be connected to the back of the engine block and the firewall under the air cleaner. A second one goes back to itself so it needs to go somewhere, I'm guessing the alternator. A third one comes from the back of the engine block but is cut after about six inches. I can't find another cut strap anywhere...

I've searched the forum and am not the best when it comes to auto repair. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.
