Computer wise shouldn’t be much issue, it will throw a code though. As for being worth it? Difference is probably negligible vs high flow cats, and won’t pass emissions testing if you have. The y pipe is where the worst restriction is in the exhaust.

I am thinking about removing my catalytic converter and replacing it with a pipe, but I don't know what consequences there will be computer wise. Would it be worth taking it out? After the cat it's a y straight pipe.
