0-60 How Fast Are You?

Just wondering what everyone's 0-60 times are. I just recorded myself and mine is between 5.5-6 seconds. Does that sound average. My truck is stock except for Lakewood's, Z-tube, and muff.

How are you calculating this? With a stock truck you should be quite a bit slower than 5.5-6 seconds.

Camcorder... held it in my left hand in the middle of my steering wheel. I know its ghetto but it works :eek:nethumb:. Remember i have a rc 5spd manual 4.7 :twothumb:
Yikes.

LOl what do you mean? I'm a cowboy?
I mean it's rediculous to use a camcorder to record yourself accelerating from 0-60mph and think the elapsed time is going to be remotely close to what it actually is. Next time see how long it takes to go to 70mph.

basically the way way Dave calculated it is gonna be your best bet. According to my 1/8 mile time and trap, I'm at 5.3 seconds, which in my book is way more accurate than the stop watch method I did on it back before I found that website. With the stop watch method I was getting 4.6 - 4.7 seconds. I know that a 4100lbs brick with shitty stock heads and stock 3.92 gears didn't go 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. 5.3 seconds sounds a whole lot more accurate to me than 4.6s does with my current engine setup. just my .02 :eek:nethumb:
His stock RC 4.7 5 speed does 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. All that money you spent modifying your R/T just to gain .2 seconds? hahahaha. I guess he's right, I don't know what i'm talking about. According to that calculator i'm at about 5.6 seconds.
