How are you calculating this? With a stock truck you should be quite a bit slower than 5.5-6 seconds.
Yikes.redmed427 said:Camcorder... held it in my left hand in the middle of my steering wheel. I know its ghetto but it worksnethumb:. Remember i have a rc 5spd manual 4.7 :twothumb:
I mean it's rediculous to use a camcorder to record yourself accelerating from 0-60mph and think the elapsed time is going to be remotely close to what it actually is. Next time see how long it takes to go to 70mph.redmed427 said:LOl what do you mean? I'm a cowboy?
His stock RC 4.7 5 speed does 0-60 in 5.5 seconds. All that money you spent modifying your R/T just to gain .2 seconds? hahahaha. I guess he's right, I don't know what i'm talking about. According to that calculator i'm at about 5.6 seconds.na360rt said:basically the way way Dave calculated it is gonna be your best bet. According to my 1/8 mile time and trap, I'm at 5.3 seconds, which in my book is way more accurate than the stop watch method I did on it back before I found that website. With the stop watch method I was getting 4.6 - 4.7 seconds. I know that a 4100lbs brick with shitty stock heads and stock 3.92 gears didn't go 0-60 in 4.6 seconds. 5.3 seconds sounds a whole lot more accurate to me than 4.6s does with my current engine setup. just my .02nethumb:
