History
I was originally looking for a 1971 or 1972 Dodge Demon to build but couldn't find one. So I thought about building a Dakota. I bought the truck in November of 1999 for $100. It was a plain Jane 2 wheel drive Dakota powered by a 2.2 liter with a 5 speed (which was blown up and laying in the bed of the truck). In 2000, I built the first engine for it (383 big block) on a tight budget. The truck was completed in April of 2001. Then in 2004 I built the 451 stroker.
