Keyfob?

So this may sound like a silly question but ill ask it anyways, I own a 05 Dakota slt, it didn't come with a key fob. I know I have to have it specially programmed however I'm wondering, what does the fob look like? Is it separate from the key or is it built into the key?

The FOB is separate. The RFID is built into the key.

Hmm yeah I don't have a working remote with my truck, so the video won't apply to me thanks tho!

Side note, that's on a older gen, so the remote on the 05 is the same as the 03?

Try Batteries Plus. I bought New Keys and they programmed them for my Daughters Subie Forrester.

Was not cheap, but cheaper than the dealership.

They'll probably have to order them. We had to wait a week for hers.

Hot rodder rule of thumb....every $1 invested in head flow is roughly worth $3 in the short block
