Modifications: nothing yet..... hopefully that'll change soon.... i've got the plans, just need the money and the time... for starters, lets just say i would like the "T" in SLT to stand for turbo!

Joining the army!

It's been a longtime coming, I've been talking about it for years and now I'm finally doing it! Any advice from you army guys out there?

well, since this went afloat, i'm actually part of a Navy family-- father did 26 years, older step brother retired two years ago as a senior chief, youngest brother got put out due to overstrength rate, and the only one still active is crusing his final two years to retirement

whichever branch you do decide to go with, Thank You for stepping up to maintain the Standard

Try to study in a field when you are in there so you don't come out without any thing to do. A lot guys that finish with me and end up reenlisting cause they cannot find jobs on the outside. That is ok if you like it there. Just have a plan B I guess is the only advise I can give. Those years go faster than you think.

I'm AF reserve here in Canada. Every time someone says "navy", I think of the movie "Down Periscope". Odd.

So all is done, I go to basic on May 19th... Super excited about it, my MOS is 15R.... For those who don't know the code, that means I'm going to be an AH-64 Apache helicopter mechanic! Freakin awesome! Can't wait to start!
