Front end hop

I rotated the tires on my 05 Dakota. I thought everything went OK until I got on the Interstate as few days later. When I reach 65-70 mph, the front end vibrates/hops especially the right (passenger) side. I checked the tire pressure and put some air in that side but it didn't help. I am wondering what to start looking at first: wheel balance, alignment, bearings, shocks or .... The problem didn't exist before I rotated the tires.

Anyone have thoughts as to what it might be? Thanks

Put that tire back in the rear and drive it again. If the vibration goes away again, theres something wrong with that tire. Could be a bent rim, bad tire, or out of balance tire. If the vibration doesn't go away, check for bad shocks, alignment warped rotor, worn tie rod ends, etc.

For some reason my original reply from last month didn't show up.

I rotated the tires back and had a somewhat the same issue, although not as violent. I took all four tires up and had them re-balanced. This seems to have taken care of the issue.

Thank you so much for your help!
