What is Powder Coating?
It is a process that takes a fine plastic powder, applies a negative charge to
it, then blows it through a gun onto metal parts. The coated parts are placed in
an oven and baked, to melt the powder onto the parts.
The result is a coating that is significantly more durable than traditional
paint, and offers a faster turn around since the paint does not have to dry
overnight. As soon as the parts are cooled they can be assembled.
Powder coating offers a better finish, durable, erosion, corrosion and impact
resistant and uses an environmentally safe process that already meets EPA codes.
