Brown Design Studio is new to the Kit market, but not new to custom
composite design and fabrication. Building race car body parts for Formula
Atlantic's and others lead us to start designing a few custom body kits. Our
parts are all hand laid with the best, light weight and strongest materials.
Most of our kit parts are polyester, however, we also work with Kevlar and
Carbon Fiber. We allow our parts to remain in the molds longer to dry, this
stops the part from moving or warping due to being green. All of our body parts
will be built with our racing back ground in mind, weight, strength and
aerodynamics, our parts work, they are not just for looks.

GTS Hood:
Engineered for style and performance with over one year in research and
prototyping. More then 4 outside companies have helped in this endeavor
including Speedtweaks, World Wide Performance Parts, Flometrics Engineering, and
Dakota USA. We also owe a debt of gratitude to Illinois College's Physics
department and Dr. Chamberlain for his assistance in the project.
The Ram-Air hood has been engineered with a completely enclosed, and isolated,
Cold-Air/Ram-Air system and includes a separate heat extraction vent on the rear
cowl. The scoop has been designed to match the optimum aerodynamic entry point.
Fluid Dynamics testing and flow data are being completed now.
This hood has been designed by Premier Automotive and has its design based on
solid physic principals and proven design. It is made of high quality Fiberglass
with Steel reinforcements, and is a perfect fit with a fully finished underside
as well. A real show-stopper. This is not a copy, redesign, or resell of someone
else's hood...it's been designed from the ground up!
The classic Scoop design is based on the NACA hood scoop used on spacecraft,
aircraft, high-end race cars such as Ferrari's and a close relative of the hood
scoop used on the Dodge Viper. This design gains maximum air flow while almost
eliminating drag. It is set in the high pressure zone of the truck to get the
most possible airflow.
Cowl Hood: Completely engineered to fit the 97-04'
Dakota and 1998-2003 Durango. This hand laid carbon fiber 2" cowl hood is built to
the highest quality standards and guaranteed to fit perfectly. Available in a
cold air version or upgrade to the fully enclosed and functional induction
system. This is expected to be the lightest hood on the market for the Dakotas
and Durangos weighing in around 24lbs. Shipped fright collect via Fedex Freight.
