Bucket seats

I was wondering if bucket seats was an option on any Gen 1s. If not will any gen 2 seats fit? I am wanting to use factory brackets. I have a escort seat that will fit with my driverside slider but I would have to make a bracket to fit the other side.

Do they have 1 piece frames for 2 buckets or each bucket has it own slides? I am wanting to put 2 buckets in and have the shifter between the seats. I am setting the truck up for drag.

Each bucket has its own slide. Each bench has 4 slides also. I used my bench slides for a set of seats from a turbo Dodge before getting my factory buckets. The bucket seats bolted right where the bench brackets bolted.

FYI... When trying to do this in my Shelby Dakota I found no inside seat track mounts.... My solution was to weld in the factory brace found in the 92-96 tracks with buckets. Now I have Shelby Recaro seats for it that move indepenantly of each other... not like the factory shelby kit....

Thats what I am looking for. I dont have the factory mounts either. I have a fiberglass race seat that I will be installing. I have put bucket seats where they were bench before. I was wanting a factory mounting system because its cleaner and stronger most of the time. It is easier to drill and bolt than to bend and weld. I just toataled the truck tues so I will be going foward alot FASTER now.

any chrysler seats from the same era (up though 96 i think) will fit on your sliders.

Im hoping to score a set of SRT4 seats personally but the damn uncle ben's ricers wont wreck their cars more
