5.9 cam in a 5.2?

Is the cam just too big spec wise or will it not physically fit?

Small upgrade, yes. It wouldn't really be worth the time and gaskets involved in a swap though

318 cam is a cheap upgrade if you happen to have on the shelf doing nothing else. A 318 cam with 1.7 rockers will have roughly the same effect on a 5.9 as a Mopar R/T cam.
