Durango pcm in dakota with same drive train

I have a 2002 Dakota automatic with the 5.9L, the ecm is bad. I have searched junk yards, eBay,and many other avenues. I have put in orders for remanufactured ecm and came up short every time. The specific ecm has been discontinued and not available for anywhere I have tried. My question is are the ecm for a Durango and Dakota with the same drive train interchangeable? I can find ecm for the Durango but not the Dakota with the same drive train.
