transmission slow to shift

I have been reading the forums, and found one that sounded like my problem but I can't find it again, so I apoligize for asking this again, but I am new to the dodge world.

My Wife drives a 99 durango 5.2 it is leaking a small (a few drops a night) amount of transmission fluid but I haven't found where it is coming from. However the man problem is how it shifts from 1st to 2nd. driving normal (soccer mom driving) it shifts fine. If you get on it any at all, it won't shift out of 1st, if you grandma crawl it, it won't shift out of first. After you get out of 1st gear you can drive however you want and it will shift fine (unless you get on it a get it to downshift into 1st, then the problem of getting into second is still there)

If I remember right the other thread said somethign about changing the tranny filter some fluid (which is still red in color) and 2 sensor but I can't remember what they were. Anyone have any ideas on why it is shift so poorly out of 1st?
