Hi, hope that I am allowed to ask this again, in this forum. I am having trouble determining which side the pcv valve is located. If you are standing in front of the car, and looking toward the passenger side(the left side), is the pcv valve located there? If pcv valve is on the passenger side, what is the part on the right side with a tube attached to it and the underside of the filter housing called? Oh yes and this item is also attached to the valve cover and the hole is about 1" diameter with a grommet attached also. Thanks for any responses.

If it has the 1" hole thats on the driver side and has a hose that runs to the intake (not intake manifold) than that should be just your valve breather. The pcv should have a smaller hole in the grommet and plug into the intake manifold. The pcv is usually on the passanger side of the truck and the valve breather is usually on the driver side.

pcv valve location

Hi Chris, the dealer sold us a vent for the passenger side cost was 8.90 for it. It's location is definitely on the passenger's side and the pcv valve is located on the driver's side. All worked well, thanks for your information. Locations are so hard to understand, because of the way people determine the side of the vehicle that a part may be on. Some say left side when talking about the drivers side and so on. Thanks again for your info. :biggthump

IM glad to hear you got it fixed. Funny, on QuaTch94's R/T the breather is on the driver side.
