Cylinder Heads

It's going to cost almost $1000 to fix/build my shitty Clearwater Cylinder Heads. Who sells Eddy's, or whatever, for the best price ? I only paid $750 for these, 3500 miles ago, and their trashed. Clearwater built them wrong, and now they're not standing behind their work

Lawyer up and then complain to the BBB, 3500 miles after initial purchase and they fail is not common and does show shitty work.
You may have to go to Edelbrock.com to find out where you can find them for sale.

here's the story.............

sent them my cam card when I ordered my heads, and they were supposed to build the heads accordingly. It was a typical 210*/Sausage cam, lift around .520. According to Clearwater, they had to put longer valves & springs in, to go with the cam. Well, the springs they put in bottom out/coil bind @ .485, the valves are too short, and the retainers were incorrect. So, my heads were running for 3500 miles with .035 worth of insufficient valve travel, and lunching themselves. The tops of the guides are all smashed and mushroomed, the stem seals are crushed/destroyed, and I have a bunch of bent valves. Clearwater also advertises that ALL heads recieve a 3 angle vavle job. My seats look to be barely machined at all. So now I'm replacing everything but the castings themselves and paying as much to do it, as I paid for the goddamn things in the 1st place.

I called Clearwater about their 2 yr. warranty. They said it was impossible that they used the wrong compnents. I sent them pix of the destroyed stuff as proof. They said that the damage was because I was 'racing" the engine. Are you fucking kidding me !?!?! Anyone who knows me, knows this truck barely, if ever, sees the track.

It shouldnt matter what you were doing with the engine, they had a 2 year warranty, if its within 2 years you should be compensated. If they wanna say they wont repair/replace because of you racing then they should have to prove it, otherwise anyone can say anything to avoid having to repair/replace parts that are still under warranty.

LOL, wtf. You ask that in every thread

I just spoke to CCH. Once I mentioned that I had a local machine shop look at them, and what they found, they seem to be softening their postion a bit. They've asked that the heads be sent back, and they'll evaluate them. I'm NOT optimistic, but we'll see. My local guys is putting them back together, as is, now. They'll be sent out tomorrow via UPS. I'm having UPS pack and box them too, that way they can't point any fingers at me for shipping. More to follow.......stay tuned.

I think he knows what America is. America is the mob. Conjure magic for them and they'll be distracted. Take away their freedom and still they'll roar. The beating heart of America is not the marble of the Congress, it's the cellulose of the Hollywood. He'll bring them death, pestilence, and disease - and they will love him for it.
