Hi guys. I need your help. I want to add at least 3-inches of height to my 2005 Dodge Dakota SLT. What mods do I need before I could install a Lift Kit to my truck? Also, what brand should I go for?
The only way to lift our trucks is with a front leveling kit (Daystar 2" or Trailmaster 1.5 being the most popular), rear blocks or add-a-leaf, and/or a 3" body lift (Performance Accessories makes the body lift).
Old thread I know, but still relevant to someone looking for a 3” Body lift kit for the late model Dakotas...
Well against all odds, I actually found an actual body lift kit for the 05-11 models years on Amazon and it seems to be THE ONLY body lift kit available on the planet.
I already have a leveling kit and rear axle blocks installed, but they eat up front end parts like crazy with the whacky geometries it causes. So I went ahead and bought the body lift kit I found on Amazon.com for $500.
The brand is “Performance Accessories” and it is a full 3” Body Lift Kit
