Hey guys, I know this topic has been talked to death but I have a strange one.
I am looking to do an electric fan swap on my 99 durango 5.9 and then fan i have is off of 2014 durango with towing package. So the fan is rated for 13V, 850W and has built in resistor (in motor) for variable speed.
What kind of controller will I need to make this thing work. Its rated for 100amp fuse on the wiring diagram and Im not sure if my 136amp alternator can handle it.
Anyone?

Okay , so this fan controls the speed by changing the resistance (flow of current) in the fan and signal wire controls the ground.
Its got 3 cables, power, ground and signal (earth). Any idea how I can make this work? Im thinking i am going to have to get a temp sensor and relays to kick in the ground when it reaches desired temp but what how do i control the speed or voltage for speed?
