93 transfer case

Where is the bleedin' fill hole on a 93 Dakota 4X4 transfer case? I've looked all over...could it be a sealed unit? It's behind a 5.2L V8 and 4 spd OD auto tranny. No visible plug on any side/face that I can see???

On the back. On mine both the fill and drain plugs are large hex heads, somewhere around 1 1/8" I think.

5.2, 5 Speed, MS3X (Full Sequential, Spark, Idle, Boost Control, Fan, Water/Meth), HX40 Pro/P-Trim Hybrid.

You mean the back side, toward the rear differential? Great...can't access that side due to the connector from the tranny and the frame crossmember. Have you ever serviced yours? HOW???

If you have an automatic, it's several inches longer than my 5 speed, so maybe that's what your problem is?

Yep, you're right...and its a real problem. The auto tranny puts the transfer case right over the lip of the frame crossmember...no way in hell to get a wrench in there or even see the plugs. Had to lay under it eating dirt and feeling around up there with my big paw...but think I found/felt the top plug anyway. Not that it does me any good, but at least I know where it is now. Maybe the blue torch wrench applied to the front of the bottom edge of the cross member would get me enough room to get to it.

Well, the blue-torch-wrench option is out. And no way to get any kind of wrench/socket on the fill plug...too close to the crossmember and bottom of the cab. Next option to explore is drilling/tapping a new fill hole at the same height as the original on an accessible face/surface of the transfer case.

Found somethin out about my truck today...took it to my mech to see if he could get a wrench on the fill plug. Turns out the idiot PO did away with the cradle holding the transfer case above the cross member. Jacked it up and got access to the plug, put a block of wood under it until I can get and install a cradle.
