High Idle at start up

I have noticed that when I start the durango it will have a very high idle (2100rpms). But I can tap the gas and it will go down. But it will continue to surge up and down for about 30-45 seconds (depending on outside temp). Could this be a TPS problem? I know it would be covered under my warranty. But I really dont want to be without my truck for another few days. And if it is an easy inexpensive fix I would like to do it myself.

Thanks in advance

Yep, you called it TPS. Any parts store will have it or you can order from NAPA. Also, you may want to clean the throttle body, IAC port or replacemment as need be. All can be done in your garage/driveway along with ceremonial beer.
