Ok i dont really know where to post this but im wanting to know if any of you have kids and had to have a infant seat or baby seat in your club cab dakota, I have a baby on the way and if the seat one fit i have to sell my truck.
The baby seat has to sit in the front passenger seat. This is why the air bag can be turned off. It is the only position the baby seat can sit until they are into a booster seat.
only a booster seat will fit in the back, i couldnt get the car seat in between the seats in the back and the seat wont support it fully either if ya did
Ok so why is it that the 2002-up club cabs have the anchor system for securing car seats. Yes, I've had 3 kids with car seats and all of them have ridden in the back seat of my Dakota.
I took out my center console to fit the infant seat. With that gone the infant seat fit perfect in between the front seats. Ideally a quad cab is better but you can make do with your club cab.
