I am trying to replace my timing chains i my 2004 dodge dakota. When I set my timing marks
one dot at 12 o clock on idler grear
one dot at 6 o clock on crank gear
left dot on left timing grear seting at v6 at 12 o clock
right dot on right timing gear seting v6 at 12 0 clock
and then I roll the engine over 2 revolutions and they all line up again, but if I go another 2 revolution, the only ones that line up are the idler gear and the crank gear. Is this normal.
Please help!!!
