Hey Air Ram,

Could you please tell me what the SCT Tune will do for our 4.7 Dakotas?

Does it change the "shift points" or is there more to it than that?

Unfortunately for the NGC PCM's there are no transmission controls and although they advertise transmission control on the Jtec's I did not like the results when I had mine adjusted. I actually had them zero out the trans codes back to stock.

With that said, with just a simple base tune with a factory clean up your shift will become MUCH firmer. We cant really adjust the automatic shift points but by cleaning the factory crap up your shifts will be noticeably firmer over stock.

So SCT will improve some aspects of shifting. But programing shift points is not one of them. Personally I just shift manually at 6,000 RPMs either way. So I don't need that sort of program.

I can say that we can make you a tune that will have you grinning from ear to ear. :drive:
