'97 Dakota Sport

Born and raised in Johnstown, now living in Pittsburgh.

If anyone has recommendations on Pittsburgh service stations I'd love to hear them. I do all my own work on my Alfa Romeos (mainly because I don't trust anyone locally to touch them)... the bonus of owning a mass-market vehicle like the Dakota means I should be able to afford to be a checkbook mechanic.

sup guys I don't live in PA right now I'm in South Carolina but me and two other friends are going to be in Blairsville PA next year to go to school at Wyotech unfortunately I will not have the dakota with me I will be driving my 97 Mercury Mountaineer that is the complete opposite of my R/T because it is much more set up for snow and Ice conditions whereas a dak R/T with lots of power and only 2wd is just asking for trouble up north.

If any of you know anything about Wyotech or are perhaps attending there I would like to hear some feedback.

The attatchment picture is of my Mountaineer doing a little off roading.

I'm up in that wonderful crap hole called Grove City too. Caulk, you've probably seen me around, I'm the black 97 with the Blue Roof Light, Blue Dash Light, Safari Bar with Lights(no covers currently cause they melted, and Wig Wag kit. You'll definetly see me coming if the Rescue Squad has a call!

Hah!! I've seen your truck a couple times recently at Wal-Mart! Even eye-balled it walking past, love to see aftermarket parts.

You know Brian Morgan? He and I used to hang out alot in school. Mention my name, he'll know.

Check out my cardomain page, you'll see me around I'm sure.

My step-dad is Chief at 85, father and step-mother are members.

Hey caulk04,

Would that be the same Brian Morgan that lives just across the border in Ohio? He is also a Firefighter with my department.

Just wondering.

Heh...no, Grove City is just across the border in PA. We're less than 30min from the Ohio border though.

What sucks is I had a great place to go wheelin right off of the Center exit off of 60...last time I was there a couple of guys said they had posted it (which I didn't see). I hadn't been there for a year or so.

So that area got ruined!!

Another good place to go is right past Penn State Beaver entrance...make the first left as you pass the campus on your right.

The road goes straight into a friggin creek! The only bad thing is I went there in a Jeep and a long wheel base would bottom out and most likely get stuck.

I don't have a 4 wheel drive, but I would like to see your truck sometime. We should meet somewhere and check out each other's trucks.
