Well i will say this. I never add spray to any engine. It will give you a kick inthe ass, but will kill the engine sooner thatn later. There will be guys telling you that they have been spraying for years and had no problems. Maybe, but most people that spray pay. If you want more get up and go, look in to steeper gears.

nitrous can be safe, u just always have to moniter it. use a nitrous express wet kit, and nothing else. at the very least u should put in a 180 degree thermo, and 1 heat range colder plugs. a good exhaust, air intake, coil, and wires would benifit u too. other tips, dont use it when the motor is boggin a purge is very helpfull along with a bottle heater...work your way up on the jets, preferably on a dyno while metering air fuel

Nitrous Oxide can be a safe modification that significantly increases horsepower, but you should religiously follow the safety precautions that follow the use of this type of product - many people get greedy or lazy and end up damaging their motors from negligence.

Use 1 or 2 step colder spark plugs. Use high octane fuel (94-100). Use a fuel pressure switch. Use a wet kit that injects fuel with the nitrous to keep a fair A:F ratio. Test both of your solenoids before every day of racing. Use a WOT and master arm switch so it doesn't go off when you're not ready. Make sure your shark nozzle is placed where and how the manufacturer recommends it, do NOT try to MacGyver some oddball way of injecting N2O into your system. Upping the horsepower is as simple as switching a pair of jets, do NOT get greedy and exceed the maximum rating for your vehicle.

So is being close minded.....but going down the track faster isnt gay. However that happens so be it...that being said I dont use NX...that shizzle is too dangerous for the 4.7

I went 1.5 seconds and 11mph faster in the quarter mile with a mere 75hp shot - no purge, no heater, etc. People who don't use nitrous can complain about it all the want, but the stuff works wonders. The whole system cost me $300 plus the fill, there is absolutely no part out there that will match that bang for the buck. If I had $5000+ lying around burning a hole in my pocket I might consider a supercharger but damn I'd have to run a lot of N2O passes to equal that amount.

id like to slap some Nitrous on my Six Banger just to see how it runs, but i dont plan on using it on my V8 so it would be a waste of money. But i see Nitrous just like i see Super and Turbo chargers, its power on Demand, although Nitrous is a lot cheaper, and thats probably why people dont like it as much because a lot more people use it.

for a 1/4 imo theres no better power adder then nitrous. please explain how nitrous is gay? is it because nitrous cars usualy have to be heavier then tc/sc cars in class racing beucase of the power produced from it?

Ok I like power that is there at all times. If you put a blower or a turbo on your engine, the power is there whenever you want it, it never runs out if you know what i mean. Yes spray will get you down the 1/4 faster, but to me it's just like downing alot of coffee, it will just you a burst, but it will where off. Like I said I think gears are alot better mod than spray, the power can be felt all time. By the way I went atleat 1 second faster in the 1/4 with my Stang after I went from 2.73's to 4.10's. Look to each his own. If you do put spray on your 3.7, let me know how it goes. :sorry: I like to shake it up a bit.

Yeah my car was a night and day diff with the gear swap. I have never liked spray, but if you want to use it, be my guest. I don't ran at the track much and i am not big on street racing, so i just have a powerful car for my enjoyment only.
