Who wants a cold air intake kit for the 4.7L V8?

Well I live very very close to Weapon-R and I know they are very well known for making intake kits for those rice rockets but I guess they make them for trucks and such as well. If I can get 15 or more people together here that want to do a group buy on these puppies they will use my truck as a test dummy to make a kit. Price is unknown as of yet, I should have that info next week for anyone who is interested.

If you are game to do a group buy on these then post here and I will get this ball rolling.

Nice to see that someone is trying to get something made for the bastard trucks. :clap2: They should have called them stealth trucks as they seem to be invisible to most of the aftermarket.

I am waiting on my intake setup to arrive for my 05. Cost, well less than $100 shipped to my door. Includes aluminum polished pipes, silicone connectors, clamps, and a real K&N cone filter.

Lets see what the pricing is and how it looks/performs before I decide to "upgrade".

Who knows, the one I may be getting might be a total POS. Then again....

yeah its going on a year now that there trucks were out ... you would think they would get going on some aftermarket stuff. We finally have headers but WOW 650.00!!! :cussing:

I would probably be interested in a cold air intake, and i wish they would come out with a damn body kit for this truck!!!

truck goes in next Wednesday so they can get started on the kit, it should hit the Dyno Wednesday night. I will post dyno results and let everyone know a price as soon as I hear back. I really need more people to step up if they are interested and if it looks like there will be a good turn out I will set this up in the group buy section.
