Bassani gets no love w/ dakota owners!

Bassani has a foreward exit exhaust for the dakotas since 1997 and nobody seems to mention it. Spintech seems to be stealing the thunder from the other companies. I had the bassani on my 98' r/t and i absolutely loved it. I just ordered the same kit for my 2003 sport+. It exits before the rear tire, very compat and lightweight. The tips are sleek and look badass. Why no love. Really! It's a sweet system.

How much was the kit? I plan on putting spintech on mine sometime

The Bassani kit was $550. I had spintech on another vehicle and i really didn't like it. It sounded good but fit like shit. That was in 2002 so things mught have changed. The true dual kit from spintech is very heavy and there is no new hangers with the kit. The 2 pipes that come over the axle and out the side don't have a hanger to hold it. I'm sure a shop could mount a new hanger for the spintech system w/ no problem. Go with what you want. I have a stock truck so true duals would be too much for me. Plus i know Bassani stuff is always perfect.
