PM me TWO nominations for Sept TOM.

Remember
1. you can't nominate yourself
2. Previous TOM winners (http://www.dakota-durango.com/forum/showthread.php?p=62773#post62773) have to wait a yr until they can be nominated again.
3. Make sure your nominations are spelled Correctly!

Decisions....decisions....not many people have been compaigning or opting for TOM and there isn't many threads with new pics of everyone's dak. I'm gonna see who we've got before sending mine in :biggthump

Parading for votes is half the battle, people don't know you're up for TOM if you don't bring it to their attention. I campaigned and I won :biggthump :banana2: :mullet:

parading for votes is gay.
if your truck doesn`t strike someones attention enough for them to remember then it doesn`t need any noms. thus why i stopped parading.

I'll have to disagree on that comment man. For instance, when people look at pics of a great looking truck, they may say to themselves "wow what a nice ride". But when the time comes to actually nominate and/or vote that person tends to forget the persons exact SN on this board. This is exactly what happened in mine and pressurized2's case. But we made a post with our trucks pics and info and we got voted up because people knew who we were and what we have :biggthump

I gotta agree with Rich. It always happens to me. When it comes time for nominations I always sit there and think who should I nominate and I have to search all over the place. This way you know where to look and you see pics of trucks with owners who care if they are nominated.

I know there are a couple trucks here that I drool over. One is Sully and the other is QuaTscH94's silver truck. I know what trucks strike me, and they do it! Admitedly, there are others as well, but I seem to recall those two off the top of my head at the moment.

I think if you like the truck, you'll remember it. However, someone new with a killer truck might not have the advantage of being as well known.

:biggthump Thanks for the props on "Sully" BlackDak. Very much appreciated. Nice to know that Sully has a memorable effect on someone without the campaigning involved.

IMO campaigning for votes is ones personnal choice and they are more than welcome to do it. And I agree that it does bring peoples attention to their trucks, but I'd rather get my noms and votes from members like BlackDak who see a members ride and the visual image just sticks with them. There are a few members rides here that strike me this way. No campaigning involved.

And with that .......... My noms are in ;)

I find it hard to believe that you guys don't KNOW your trucks are covered in drool... There is a ton of blood, sweat and tears in those trucks and it shows.

However, someone new with a killer truck might not have the advantage of being as well known.hey whats my name "skip" i like being drooled over too, anyway my noms are in i went a little different this time with a big giant suv that i have only seen post a few times but i went back and checked out his ride more and wow damn that thing is big that took a lot of fabing and i could tell there was a lot of attention to detail the only bad thing is that he is a Florida Gator fan :sorry: :rant:
