2005 Dakota 4.7L

I was checking these traction and anti-sway control plus kit out and for $40 I'm thinking this is a pretty good deal and looks simple to install.

I Found them at Summit Racing. (http://store.summitracing.com/default.asp?Ntt=720004&Ntk=KeywordSearch&DDS=1&searchinresults=false&N=0&target=egnsearch.asp)

The description says that it reduces body roll up to 40%. I was wanting it mostly for the Anti-Sway effects. The stock rear Sway Bar are totally lame on the 2005 Dakota.
I saw some pictures of someones rear sway bars that they took, i forget where they were at but I couldnt believe it when i looked under my truck and saw them. The rear is like 1/2" thick and no one has a complete set of Anti-Sway Bars for the 2005 Dakota's so I'm looking for something to do with it until something better gets released.

I've measured my rear springs and they measure 2.5". The Summit Catalog says it'll fit most applications with 2.5" Springs.

So please let me know what your thoughts are on this. I mean for $40 It just seems like a good deal and doesnt cost much, or at least not $200-$300 like others I've seen.

Thanks
DD.

Here's a Picture of the Summit SUM-720007. Not sure what the difference is other then the arch. I'm thinking the above ones SUM-720004 would be better.

Here's a scanned copy of it... The glossy paper takes crappy pictures.
Hope this helps..

It looks like it'd work. how well that i do not know, But the concept seems to be there.

It looks more like a helper spring than a sway bar. It looks like it might stiffen up the rear a bit. It's only $40 so go for it and let us know how it works out.

Sorry guys,.. I was away for the weekend.
So umm where we at???

IC we're at it's only $40 try it eh? :banana2:
So you guys think this is more of a Helper Spring vs. an Anti-Sway Control Device. hmm.

I don't think i need anymore load capacity. The stock rear Anti-Sway Bar is very tiny compared to the front. I can't find a set of performance Anti-Sway Bars for sale for 2005 unless a version of the 2002 or 2003 works for the `05...

Man waiting for the after market to catch up is killing me... lol
Who knows tho,... I've got 2 weeks for another Pay day to come around for me so it'll give me time to think about this.

But if anyone else has suggestions or thoughts on this I'm all ears.

Thanks Guys.
