I got a quote from a local autobody place and they said they could paint a rollpan, door handles, and tailgate handle for around $200. Is this a good deal or not? Seems a bit high to me, but then again, I'm a cheapskate.

Here in PA, a roll pan will cost ya 150 for a GOOD paint job that wont chip or flake in 2 years.
So, it might be. Painting the handles is a PITA from what I'm told!

I'm a cheapskate too but $200 for a quality job and a guarentee on the work is a great price for all that. Just make sure they stand by their work :biggthump

go for it i went to a body shop by me and they wanted 500 to paint the rollpan and fix a dent in my tailgate, and they said they won't do the door handles ,so i would defintatly go for it
i had a very good body shop paint just my front bumper for 50 bucks, then again i sorta got connections but i think thats a little high.

I got another quote a while ago for just my door handles and they said it'd be $40 per handle, and the place that quoted me $200 for rollpan & handles said it'd be like $125 for the rollpan and $25 per handle, and that's only if I get it all done at the same time, otherwise they'd charge more for the door handles. So who knows. I guess I'll just call a couple more places and see if I can find anythign else, otherwise just go for it for $200.
