05 dakota body Kit

I really liked the sniper kit they made for the 04's and under, I almost ask myself everyday why I didnt buy an older dakota just for that kit, bUT I wanted a brand new truck. Anyways I was wondering if anybody has any idea if they are making a body kit for the 05 or if there are any on the market now? I reallly hate the way the front end looks from the side on the 05's and i would love to get a body kit. Let me know. Thanks.

I may be wrong and if I am someone please correct me on this but I do not think there is a kit as of yet. To tell you the truth there is not much out for this truck yet that I can find.

Best get creative if you want to change it. Looks like the aftermarket has turned their heads to the new dakota. (Can't say that I really argue) that angled front nose... WHY WHY WHY?! Other than that, I think it's a bitching lookin truck. Wish they'd get some more TORQUE in that puppy, felt just as sackless as the Frontier... Lame

Couple things here...for one...there isnt a kit that I know of at all for the 05 kota's yet, but I know alot of companies are hoping by next spring/summer to have alot more products circling around. For two...how can someone say this thing doesnt have balls, mine is all performance stock so far, just eye candy added onto it. I have beat a 04 Eclipse, 04 Duramax, and my old 02 F150 that has over 10k in aftermarket on it...its not gonna go own anything crazy like a completely modded out civic with 20k aftermarket in it, but I think it does just fine as of now.

Mine has a hood scoop (not operational at this time, but will be), a tonneau cover, a super bee stripe, and SRT10 viper tires and wheels. Not a body kit, but you can do some stuff!

Right now if you want anything like a body kit, you either have to fabricate it yourself or go to a custom body shop and let them have a whack at it. But again, that is going to cost a pretty penny. You should of bought an 04 or later if you ask me. I just dont like the looks of the 05's. Just my .02

I must say ... if you didnt have the yellow MAGNUM on the hood scoop, that truck is lookin pretty hot. Would be nice if they came out with a Dakota SRT-10 or something.

Thanks for input guys, i think for now im just gonna pretty much do the stuff the guy with the black dakota did to his, and ill just wait and see if they come out with a body kit someday. thanks

Yup, no body kits yet. There is a hood....

You can do other things like paint the plastic bumpers to match with the rest of the paint. You can tint the taillights black....and I happen to have TWO sets of 05+ Dakota tails that I'm selling. You could tint 1 set and keep the stockers for spares.

The body lines look cool, especially the side of the bed. But the front end bumper/grill just makes me go limp :sorry:

A Roll Pan From A 2003-06 Ram Will Work, It Just Needs To Be Cut Narrower About 9 Inches, The Height And Body Lines Are The Same, Im Working On Doing Mine Now.....rory
