So I am looking for an area to go play in around the southern puget sound area. When I lived here last almost a decade ago, me and a friend would go down to the Puyallup river and drive along the river beds. I've noticed they have closed the areas off since then. I want to find some decent places to play with my truck. I want to brake out the 4x4 in something other than a slick, snowy highway... any input would be great.

No clue here....sorry.....I don't have any 4x4 vehicles....Little Blue Guy is just a rear wheel drive Dakota....and I don't think the wife would let me take out the Daytona to do any 4x4 stunts :jester:

Tahuya is about as mild as it gets other than a couple new trails.
If you don't mind a bit of a drive, the Nooksack River by the bridge in Everson and by the bridge in Deming are both good places, though the access point near the Deming bridge is a little rugged sometimes.
My sig pic is from the Everson area of the river

i have an interest of getting into guns. i havent owned one ever as of yet. i am thinking of building a rifle first to get accustomed to the parts and pieces.
i have no info for off-roading around the area. when i had a borrowed 4x4 i would just hit any mud i could find on the side of roads.
