2005 dakota hemi swap

hey i have a 2005 dakota and im in the process of rebuilding a 2004 5.7 hemi. im wanting to swap it with my 4.7. I have looked on this site alot and have seen a few guys put the hemi in older dakotas. Just wondering if anyone has any info for me before i begin!

This is only from what ive read, but the trans is exactly the same. You will probabily need to modify the oil pan and the mounts. The gauges should still work. Im not posative what you will have to do about the wiring harness. The computer from an 04-05 Hemi will control both the engine and trans, but try to make sure that the comp does not have the anti-theft security, its where there is a chip in the key that the comp recognizes. Im sure there is more you will need to know. Ask more specific questions and Im sure we all can help you along.
