I have been asked by a few people to see if it was possible to set up a group buy on HID Kits.
If we get orders of 5-10 kits, I will offer 15% off, 10+ kits and I will offer 20% off of our pricing.

Please post here only if you're interested in purchasing as part of this group buy and please indicate the type of kit (bulb type, temperature, ballast) you'd like to purchase.

All kits will ship immediately after all orders are confirmed.

i wasnt able to pass inspection because i didnt have high beams.....i have HIDs and they are better than my high beams are but they didnt want to pass me for it...

and how much would it run for the group buy?

Yes we do have bixenon kits, it is an additional $40, please see the site to see what we offer.

As for the inspection situation, the cheapest solution would be to just pop in a cheap set of halogen bulbs just for the inspection.

When you're looking at our site, what you want to decide is the type of ballast that you'd like. Read the description of each type of kit to understand the different types of ballasts. Then you want to know what color (or temperature) you want your headlights to be. That is reflected in the 6000K, 8000K, 20000K, etc numbers that you see.
What is also necessary but not a decision you need to make is the type of bulb that you require, which I'm guessing is 9007.

i'll keep checking back to see if this happens.

To put in perspective for people, you're looking at an $85 shipped HID kit from us which comes with a two year warranty. Prices can go up if you want to upgrade but I will tell you that you will not be disappointed with our standard kits.

I'd be in for a 9007 kit and also your fog light kit, will you ship to Canada with this group buy deal?

HIDKitsWarehous
04-01-2009, 04:25 AM
Yes I can (Canadian shipping is $18 additional to regular shipping) and if the others who responded in this thread are still interested, your two kits would make five, if I count correctly, so this deal can happen.

My brother might be interested for a kit for his S10, I'll find out and let ya know. If the other guys are still in, I'm in for this buy.

For that example of the standard kit, shipping was included, $85 shipped. To answer Dak204's question, shipping was an additional $18 because of international shipping.

If I'm counting right (its late..), if Dak204's brother is in, that's still 5 kits and we're good.

Devilsdodge - very sorry to hear about your dog, hope everything is ok. Have two dogs of my own, I know how it can be. One's needed surgery already with another potential one needed.

don't know if you can answer this or not. the sabersport or what ever they are called with the two lights and the angel eyes. can I run a set of standard hids for low beams and regular bulbs for high beams? I hate the factory headlights they are so weak I even put hella bulbs in thinking it would brighten things up and they still suck so count me in either way but wanted to get those one piece headlights and was wondering if you could mix and match with them since two places for bulbs?

I'm gonna have to sit on the side lines and wait and see. I've got so much going on now. I will tell you one thing. I emailed this seller many times. I also emailed a bunch of others. He is the only one that got back to me. If I have the money, I will. Right now as it stands, things don't look so good. Time to go home. Bye.

I don't know exactly what kind of bulbs are in the sabersports so you will need to confirm that for yourself but I do recall that there are two separate bulbs used, one for high beam and one for low, so yes, you can use a HID kit in just the low beam and use a regular halogen bulb for whenever you need to use high beams.

As for this group deal, I'm not the one dictating whether or not it happens, its up to the members here that are interested, I'm just waiting on the side too until there's enough people and then I'll step in to give out all the relevant information.

If you'd like a set, please just state so. This makes it easier for others to gauge if this deal is going to happen or not. If you're a "I'm in only if this deal happens" person, then yes, you should be in.

The price on the bixenon kit will depend on the type of ballast you want and if we hit the 10+ kits, which doesn't seem likely right now.

Assuming we get at least 5 ppl, the premium bixenon kit would be $205.50 shipped vs. the regular price of $240 shipped. The slim or digital bixenon kit would be $150.25, the regular bixenon kit $120.50 shipped.

hey what is the $85 standard kit? what the difference between them and the other?

HIDKitsWarehous
04-03-2009, 07:39 PM
That was an example of the cheapest kit we offer, it comes with out standard magnetic ballasts and regular bulbs (meaning not bixenon). If you go to our website and read the description in the different kits, you can see the difference.

Can whoever is still interested in a kit please re-post in this format:

Depending on the number of people still interested, I'm going to mix this with another deal I'm running to make this happen.
